January's Signal Subscriber playlist...
Hello, you wonderful subscribers to The Signal!
Thank you again for supporting my work. It really does mean a lot to me.
And welcome to the monthly Signal playlist. Each month I will curate a playlist for you and include notes on the music you are listening to. I will try to mix up the genres as we go along and am more than happy to hear from you if there is something you want to take a deep audio dive into (with the understanding that there are some genres out there that I really no nothing about).
I am still trying to figure out Soundcloud…what they will allow on a playlist…what songs are blocked for copyright reasons. My gut says I will use the platform for future playlists of music that is wonderful but not readily available. But in the meantime, when I asked you all if you would not mind me using Spotify, all of you who answered seemed to think that was ok. And while I question Spotify’s ethics, until I can find a better platform that will work for all of us…I will use it.
