Thanks, David, for shedding light on a little known time period in the music business. I often tell people the story of the demo deal Larry Hardy had with Warners, and most people just give me a blank stare, like "yeah, right". It helped us record through the late 90s, eventually fizzling out in the 2000s, ironically when "garage punk", in a watered down form, blew up big around the world. And it allowed us to work with you on our "trilogy" of records for In The Red!

I remember when the Demolition Doll Rods played in Bellingham & I let them crash. Dan was so nice but the crowd hated them. The Gories were special & thanks for this inside story. In The Red was great & it was crazy how normal I thought seeing all those garage bands back in Bellingham was - town of Estrus & Garage Shock.

I first saw the Gories in '86 or '87, I was on the road with a friend's 80s/60s garage band, The Royal Nonesuch, and the Gories opened for them in Detroit, they were glorious!
